Camp o' the Pines

Camp o’ the Pines

Camp o' the Pines

Camp o’ the Pines is an affordable, Christian week-long overnight camp nestled among the wooded hills of North Florida’s Escambia County. It’s a refreshing outdoor retreat and an active hands-on adventure for boys and girls ages 8–12 years old.

Campers are immersed in a variety of indoor and outdoor activities, like zip lining, team competitions, arts and crafts, archery, swimming (with water slides!), and more. Throughout the week, they participate in every activity—so each day brings a new, fresh experience. At the end of the day, campers hit the bunks in furnished, air-conditioned cabins for a good night’s sleep.

Camp Environment

Trained camp leaders care for campers and foster a safe, comfortable environment. Leaders are with campers 24/7—always available to help in any way needed. They encourage campers to try new activities and grow in their walk with Christ.

Campers easily make friends with their cabin mates and other campers. Plus, since every activity is done in a group, no camper is ever left out.

Camp Week

Camp will run from Sunday afternoon to Friday afternoon.

Spiritual Growth

Each camper hears about God’s gift of salvation during daily chapel and cabin devotions. Because the Bible is the source of truth, we desire to make it clear and bring each child to understand how God’s Word can be applied to everyday life.

Camp Leaders

Camp o' the Pines Staff

All camp leaders have two things in common. First, they’re faculty, staff, or students at Pensacola Christian College. Second, they have a heart for serving in children’s camp ministry. Many of our leaders have served at Camp o’ the Pines for multiple summers—they’re experienced camp leaders and love what they do.

Although the look of the camp has grown and changed with time, our mission has stayed the same. Just as it was back in 1953, Camp o’ the Pines is a place where children trade their normal schedules for a week of outdoor, hands-on fun and experience the changing love of Christ.
